Dongguan Children’s Welfare Institute with elegant environment

Dongguan Children’s Welfare Institute, founded in March 1998, is a provincial first-class social welfare institution with a self-contained facility and elegant environment. The whole institute covers an area of 38356㎞², and the building area is 5375.5㎞², which includes 250 kid’s beds. All these will provide excellent conditions of fosterage, education, medical treatment, restoring and recreation for the orphans and abandoned babies. The institute has been practising the scientific, normative management with special employees of recovery and special education, and has been improving all the rules and regulation.

The institute sticks to the culture belief “human-oriented, homely centre, sincerely love” and makes every effort to seek high depth of ideology, high taste of culture, high requirement of working and high demands of service. The institute changes traditional education function that is fosterage, cure and education into affection, ability, intelligence and health. The institute will fully concern the children’s affection satisfaction, social recognition and mentality health and so on. All of these will improve the Children’s living quality maximally. Since August 2002, the institute starts to foster the children from the individual families and has arranged the special employees to institute tutoring proposal and restoring scheme for the children. The institute values these employees at the fixed time and holds parent’s training course and provide guide and suggestion for the parents. All of these will make the children live in a harmonious family environment and become a talented “average infant” with family consciousness and completive ability.

The institute will follow the principle of “Adoption priority, Fosterage second and centre tendency last”. Starting from the highest demands of the children, the institute will help them go back to family and get used to the society through adopting, fostering at home and broad. And all of these will make the children taste the parent’s love and family’s relationships.
