An invitation is warmly extended from Dongguan Children Welfare Institute (CWI) to a homeland reunion activity jointly held by Bridge of Love Adoption Service (BLAS) and Dongguan CWI in July of the year 2010. This program is to have a special focus on children who have been adopted from Dongguan. It is hoped that, through this activity, your children will get more familiar with Chinese tradition and their hometown – Dongguan’s local culture.

The activity includes a visit of the matching room at CCAA in Beijing, the culture classes at BLAS, a tour to the Great Wall and Temple of Heaven. Then on to the province where you will stay for about five days including two nights in Dongguan City. The party in Dongguan will include a grand welcome ceremony for your children, a visit to the CWI to learn about its development, and a trip to some museum or scenic spots to know about the history of the city. Your children will enjoy the trip to the Safari Park in Guangzhou and a dinner on the Pearl River Cruise. This is planned to be a special celebration for your children.
