Chengdu Homecoming—A Special Roots-seeking Tour 2010

This is a special year for Chengdu orphanage. The families and children adopted from Chengdu are invited to share in this major milestone: The move to the new, beautiful Bulding. The celebration is to have a special focus on children who have been adopted from Chengdu.
The personal invitation, extended to Chengdu Families from Director Wei of Chengdu orphanage and Bridge of Love Adoption Service (BLAS), includes a visit at CCAA, Cultural Classes at BLAS and a trip to the Great Wall in Beijing. Then on to Chengdu, where children can see the pandas and you will have the opportunity to interact with the children of the orphanage,check children’s files and do some volunter work there.
The party in Chengdu will include a grand welcome home for children and a stay of three days. All sorts of activities are being discussed, including giving the children the opportunity to play with the waiting babies, and a trip to the Panda Reserve, etc. The children will be the honored guests for the moving ceremony, which will be attended by representatives from the government who are in charge of adoption affairs, television crews, and friends of the orphanage. This is planned to be a special celebration for the children, and there is much excitement whirling around this proposed event.
Bridge of Love Adoption Service (BLAS) will do a complete travel plan and guide and interpret for families during the whole journey. Please put this special event on your personal radar.
