Xi’an Homecoming
July 6-July 14
An invitation is warmly extended from Xi’an Children Welfare Institute (CWI) to a homeland reunion activity jointly held by Bridge of Love Adoption Service (BLAS) and Xi’an CWI in July of the year 2010. This program is to have a special focus on children who have been adopted from Xi’an. It is hoped that, through this activity, your children will get more familiar with Chinese tradition and their hometown – Xi’an’s local culture.
The activity includes a visit of the matching room at CCAA in Beijing, the culture classes at BLAS, a tour to the Great Wall. Then on to Xi’an where you will stay for about four days. The party in Xi’an will include a grand welcome ceremony for your children, a visit to the CWI to learn about its development, and a trip to the terra-cotta warriors and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Your children will be invited to attend the Tang Dynasty Dinner show, taste Xi’an traditional food. This is planned to be a special celebration for your children.
Bridge of Love Adoption Service and Xi’an Children Welfare Institute are looking forward to your coming and this reunion party!
