Huanggang Homecoming 2010

As the successful homeland reunion activity jointly held by Bridge of Love Adoption Service (BLAS) and Huanggang SWI last year, the same program is still available this year in August. The children who have been adopted from Huanggang are warmly welcomed to celebrate the completion of the new Children’s building and together get more familiar with Chinese tradition and their hometown – Huanggang’s local culture.
The activities of a visit to the matching room at CCAA in Beijing, a culture lesson at BLAS, a tour to the Great Wall and Forbidden City, a visit to the Yellow Crane Tower and Yangtz River Beach in Wuhan, a visit to the Huanggang new SWI , learning to make dumplings and hand-made noodle in the dining hall in SWI, enjoying the performance by children from the SWI, lion dancing, local Huangmei drama, zither and erhu show are all still included in the program this year. The children will be the honored guests for the moving ceremony, which will be attended by representatives from the government who are in charge of adoption affairs, television crews, and friends of the orphanage.
