"Seeking the Memory, spreading the Love"

July 11-July 18

Dear Adoptive Parents and kids,

There will be a major root-seeking theme activity in July 2010 held by Wuhan Children’s Welfare Institute and Bridge of Love Adoption Service jointly, which give the opportunity to strength the emotional communication between the adoptive families and the orphanage, to make the adoptive families get together again in the orphanage to seek the memory and taste the Chinese traditional cultural. You are warmly invited to join in this roots-seeking theme activity.

Various activities in different forms are arranged in the theme activity “seeking the Memory, spreading the Love”: A visit of the matching room at CCAA in Beijing, a calligraphy lesson at BLAS, a tour to the Great Wall and Hutong area. In Wuhan, we will invite you to revisit the orphanage where the visiting adoptive children will have talks with the caretakers they had before and take picture together. The care takers will recall the stories they had with adoptive children. You will enjoy the performance given by the orphanage’s choric group and learn Chinese dance and folk songs. You will have chance to visit a kindergarten within the orphanage and have interaction with the kids there. Also, you will go to the top floor of the famous Yellow Crane Tower and view the beautiful sights of the Yangzi River.

Dear Adoptive families, let’s together witness that long desired day with all our expectation and wishes when we will review what we have had in childhood and extend our friendships. We believe that with your warm participation and support, this theme activity will be very successful.
