February 3, 2010, Mrs. Liu Xiaolei, the Deputy Director of CCAA and Director of Bridge of Love Service, hosted a welcome banquet at the banqueting hall of Beiwei Hotel for 21 adoptive families coming from Spain and Italy. With their itineraries arranged by BLAS, these families brought their little angels back to Beijing from Guangdong, Henan and Shanxi provinces on February 2, 2010, after their adoption documentations were completed

Director Liu Xiaolei delivered a toasting speech on the banquet. She firstly celebrated the adoptive parents for their dreams of adopting a baby finally come true; and then expressed her sincere respect for those Italian families who chose to adopt special need children. On behalf of the adoptive families, Ms Angels, supervisor of a Spanish website “AdoptChina”, expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the comprehensive assistance given by BLAS and complimented the high quality and efficiency of BLAS’s services. The adoptive families took the chance to taste the most famous local specialty--Beijing Roast Duck on the banquet and had affectionate conversations with the staff of BLAS, sharing their happy experiences with them.

This year is the Tiger’s year of Chinese lunar calendar. BLAS’s staff prepared some Chinese fork artifacts--little toy tigers made of cloth, as special gifts for the adoptive families, hoping all the adopted children can grow and thrive healthily and become stronger and stronger, just like these baby tigers. At the ending of the banquet, everyone lined up in front of the hotel with high spirit to take a group picture for memorizing all the unforgettable moments.
